DERFLEX High Flexibility TPU PVC Coated Inflatable Packraft Fabric Tarpaulin
At present, the most used is PVC tarpaulin, a fabric made of PVC material, with reticular fibers in the PVC material and a medium-strength high-strength polyester long mesh cloth. It is a composite fabric in which the front and back sides of the mesh cloth are glued together by cold, hot or scratching, that is, the upper and lower layers of the glue sandwich the mesh cloth, and the composite fabric is called a mesh cloth. And its main component is polyvinyl chloride, so it is called PVC tarpaulin.
PVC tarpaulin has excellent weathering resistance, fire retardant, anti-UV, anti-static, excellent tensile, tear-resistant and anti-stripping. TPU tarpaulin is more wear-resistant than PVC tarpaulin, and TPU material is superior to PVC material in cold resistance, processing performance and mechanical strength. So TPU materials are much more expensive than PVC materials.
It takes a lot of materials to make inflatable products such as bouncy castles. It will increase much cost if use TPU materials, so TPU materials are generally used to make small products such as bumper balls, zorb balls, normal inflatable products are mainly use PVC tarpaulin. TPU tarpaulin is more used in medical and food production.
